Solomon Mwangi

The Living Love Ministry vision was conceived back in 1996 shortly after Solomon Mwangi, a graduate of the University in Nairobi, Kenya, felt the Lord leading him to start a small children's home to care for the many homeless street children he saw every day. He began making friends with some street children and felt an unusual desire to talk to them and help them. "Somehow I knew the Lord was placing it in my heart to do something for them someday," says Solomon.

In 1998, the Lord opened a door for Solomon to participate in the YES program and he was curiously sent to Stansberry children's home in Santa Cruz Bolivia. While at the Stansbury home Solomon has learned skills needed for running a children's home and a daycare in the areas of management and administration. "We feel the Lord will use these skills when we eventually start the Kenya program and are exited about the dream come true for His Glory and Honor."
